# World Cup Daily: Matches and storylines for July 10

Vive la France! 

France, behind goals from Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, weathered a lopsided (shots-wise) but uneasy and scoreless first half to get past Morocco 2-0\. France now moves to a semifinal against the winner of Friday's Belgium-Spain match in the Southland. That match is in Arlington; [some tickets are available](https://seatgeek.com/fifa-world-cup-tickets/international-soccer/2026-07-14-2-pm/17385150?ref=verdeallday.com) but approaching mortgage territory and more for a single ticket. 

Spain has not conceded a goal in this tournament, but after a slow start in the group stages, and throughout 85 minutes of its Round of 32 match, Belgium has exploded for a combined seven goals against Senegal and the U.S. in 125 minutes. Don't be surprised if we get a Battle of the Flanders instead of a Battle of the Pyrenees in the semifinal.
