'The season has been bizarre with the scheduling': Gauging the next few difficult matches (before reinforcements arrive)

Austin FC head coach Josh Wolff is aware of the stretch of three matches that he and his team will face in the next 10 days, starting with Saturday away.

Appearing to have enjoyed the recent time off, Austin FC head coach Josh Wolff was back before the media on Thursday, getting ready for what’s going to be another three-matches-in-eight-days stretch — which he was certain to marvel at.

“The reality is the games are gonna come quick,” Wolff said. “Again, the season has been bizarre with the scheduling. We’re in three in a week or we’re off for a weekend. So we're right back into three in a week and that will challenge us again. But there's an urgency to get out. We have two away but one at home in this stretch. But you know, Colorado is the most important game. That's because it's the next game.”

Despite concerns about the scheduling, there are some reasons for optimism, starting with how the current recoveries from injury are going for a trio of players.
