'They're up for anything': Maybe resilient is the Austin FC adjective we're looking for

Austin FC is now third in the West and 8th in the Supporters' Shield race following Saturday night's win over Sporting Kansas City.

Austin FC head coach Josh Wolff said just a few days ago that he usually doesn’t pay attention to tifos, but he noticed the incredible one on Saturday night embossed with a dragon and the words, “Protect the Legend.”

“To me, it's protect the legend, protect the house,” Wolff said, embarking to praise both his team and their fans in conveying what the tifo meant to him. “It's a place that they have helped build and they help make it sacred. And this is five [wins] in a row for us at home. That's a pretty good run for our group and we’ve got it on the board, some goals and objectives this year. So these guys are adamant about it.

“But anytime the fans can give us the boost, and we mentioned … this will be the most challenging game of the week,” he added. “It's the third, it's a good opponent, they're going to be hungry and they're fresh. So the fans show up as always, the supporters’ section killed it again and hopefully, our guys proved that they're up for anything that they can find out at this point. They've done a great job here.”
