Oh, it's you again: Three things to keep in mind as Verde prepares to play St. Louis City SC for the second time in five weeks

Austin FC fans don't really enjoy matches against St. Louis City SC. They'll play in a special Sunday matinee match, with Verde hungry for an away win.

The good news is that Austin FC’s done with St. Louis City SC for the season after Sunday afternoon.

Given that Verde’s winless in three tries against what’s still the league’s newest franchise — with the pair of 2023 losses among the most deflating in franchise history — this isn’t an opponent that Austin FC fans particularly enjoy.

Still, it’s the first time this season Verde’s playing against a team it’s already faced in 2024. Here are three things to be mindful of as Verde heads to Citypark for its third road match of the season.
