A guide to All-Star Week

Wondering what to do for the All-Star Game and in the days leading up to it? We've got you covered.

We put this post together for you to help, and will add to the live/website version of it if and when things are added and changed, so make sure to leave that tab open on your phone through Wednesday.

Saturday, July 19

Nico Estevez & Brad Stuver Meet and Greet

Laundry Project Hangout with Brad Stuver

Hopsquad Brewing, 2307 Kramer Lane

A laid-back chance to hang out with Brad and donate money for this year’s Laundry Project. (They’re all set on supplies; don’t bring them!)

La Murga de Austin Vinyl Release

Celebrate La Murga’s big vinyl release! Los Verdes and other folks will be tabling at what is sure to be a good time.

Party with the Pirates & The North End Podcast

The Pirates will be kicking off All-Star weekend in style and full regalia with a trip to the pop-up pirate bar on 5th.  The bar offers discounted drinks if you dress up as a pirate!

MLS Soccer Celebration at Auditorium Shores, Night 1

Auditorium Shores, 900 W. Riverside Drive

6-10 pm

Try the new Whataburger “Prickly Pear Whatafresher” alongside various “brand activations” like Audi letting you test drive their cars and Captain Morgan handing out replica Captain armbands (designed by Austin “Year of the Dragon” tifo artist Bobby Dixon). Both days, the Michelob Ultra/Vanta mini pitch will play host to various challenges and competitions, signed jersey giveaways, and unique VIP All-Star experience package prizes for winners.

Saturday-specific stuff you should know about:

6:30-8 pm: Cobi Jones signing at the Caterpillar booth

8-10 pm: A promised Austin FC player “surprise meet and greet, a skills showdown, and giveaways to include a signed jersey and tickets to the Skills Challenge at the Michelob Ultra/Vanta mini pitch.

Sunday, July 20

ATX All-Star Futbol Fan Fest

Lustre Pearl East, 114 Linden Street

5-10 pm

Street soccer, merch and ticket giveaways, MLS and LIGA MX All-star merch, all with a live DJ, live muralist (Austin’s own Nando), and on-site tattoo artist. Local artists will also have work available for sale, and with the crew who run  Barrio Club de Futbol organizing along with a host of local and national partners, it’ll be a hot spot in a busy weekend.

8-10 pm: Michelob Ultra/Vanta Mini Pitch juggling challenge, open play, penalty shootout competition, and a surprise MLS Legend meet and greet. Giveaways to include Q2 Stadium tour, All-Star tickets, halftime recognition, and a tunnel walk experience on gameday.

Hopsquad is usually closed on Mondays, but will opening up to fans from all MLS and Liga MX fanbases the night before Skills Challenge for our extravaganza, featuring panel discussions from local and national media and our own special spin on things.

Our favorite Wolff is the opening act for the first of three nights of actual soccer players doing actual soccer things.

MLS All-Star Skills Challenge

For the sickest of the sickos. They just announced “ISHOWSPEED” will be joining, along with some Hall of Fame retired legends.

Also, on both Tuesday and Wednesday, MLS is hosting a Future of the Game exhibit inside the Lexus Club starting when gates open.

Wednesday, July 23

Special Olympics Unified Sports MLS All-Star Game: East vs West

Parmer Field, 13000 Harris Ridge Blvd.

starts at 9 am

The 2025 Special Olympics Unified All-Star Game, presented by MLS and Coca-Cola, will feature East and West All-Star teams comprised of players with intellectual disabilities (Special Olympics athletes) and without intellectual disabilities (Unified partners).

The reason for the season! Unless he suffered a grievous injury on his (we assume) private plane, Messi plays at Q2 for the first time.
