Wednesday night's match is anything but a normal match. The fan-friendly events leading up to it start Tuesday afternoon.
Like we did for All-Star Week, here's a look at the next day and a half of events surrounding Wednesday's U.S. Open Cup Final in Austin.
We will update the live version of this guide on the website if and when things are added and changed, so make sure to leave this tab open on your phone through Wednesday afternoon.

Tuesday, Sept. 30
Unofficial Austin/Nashville Supporters Groups Pre-Match Party
Oribello's Bar and Kitchen (519 W. 37th Street), 4 pm
Billed as having "Drinks/Food/Fútbol", come through for the peace conference before the 90 to 120 minutes of war on Wednesday.
5v5 with clubeleven and We Are Austin Media
Auditorium Shores (900 W. Riverside Drive), 4-8 pm
This is billed as a "casual kickabout" that everyone is welcome to attend; just bring your boots. The folks from clubeleven have a special Soccer Bus U.S. Open Cup Edition exhibit that they have toured around the country that will be around for this as well as during match day.
La Murga de Austin Supporters' Rally & Chant Practice
Live Oak Park (next to Q2 Stadium, on the train station side), 7-8 pm
Come on out and learn a brand new chant, and impress your friends and neighbors in the stands with how well you already know Carnaval!
2025's season opener tifo, art and design by Joel Corral (Katie Ensign)
Open Cup Tifo Rigging and Rehearsal
Q2 Stadium Loading Docks, 6-10 pm
Though the design is TOP SECRET and will remain so until it is raised, if you come to help, you will get an advance look at the art, make new friends, and get fed free DoubleDave's pizza for your trouble. It's come together in record time, but rest assured that it is of a scale and scope befitting the occasion.
A word of warning to first-timers though ... the mention of it being top secret is something Austin FC supporters take very seriously, so photos and video are NOT to be taken and shared, outside of the select few designated to document the evening. Links to said photos will be distributed on the other side of its 120ish seconds of glory.
Wednesday, Oct. 1
Austin Supporters March
The Sunoco of Many Food Carts (2601 W. Braker), 4:15 pm meetup, 4:35 pm march to Live Oak Park
The above says it all, except to mention that La Murga will play a 4:50 pm set at Live Oak Park, and that's when the Best Party in Austin really starts.
Austin FC Official Pre-Match Party
Live Oak Park (east side of Q2 Stadium, near the Capitol Metro McKalla Station), 4:30-6:30 pm
Peligrosa and Brownout will be playing live on the Live Oak Park Stage, with $4 Michelob Ultras and the promise of food and merch.

Austin FC let in a goal shortly before halftime, and then it got worse. Also, this team plays in a final in four days; they could do with some Taylor Swift advice.
